Welcome to our new postdoc, Emily Prévost!

The Lerner Lab is excited to welcome Emily Prévost as a new postdoctoral fellow!

Emily joins us from the University of Colorado Boulder, where she did her PhD in Psychology and Neuroscience in the Root Lab. Her PhD research used cell type-specific optogenetics, fiber photometry, and gene interference to study how dopaminergic, glutamatergic, and dopamine-glutamate co-transmitting neurons in the ventral tegmental area contribute to motivated behavior, supported by an NRSA predoctoral fellowship from the National Institute on Drug Abuse.
